Why should I use Dipps as an umbrella company?

Traditionally, there have been two primary types of work relationships. Either you are employed by a company or you have your own company and invoice your customers.

With the Dipps umbrella company option, you get the best of both worlds. You maintain the freedom of not being employed directly by a company, in addition to having Dipps dealing with all the administrative work. With this option, all you need to worry about is doing the work and letting us know about it. If you do work for our trusted partners, you don't even have to tell us about it! We integrate with their systems and will get all the information we need directly from them. You can read more about who they are and how it works here.

Now, how exactly does this work?

Well, once you perform the work, you log on to your Dipps account and start creating an invoice.

Once you’ve created an invoice, it will be sent to the Dipps finance team for approval. This is just to ensure that the invoice is correct. When approved, we’ll send it to your customer

So now you’ve created the invoice and it’s sent to the customer.
When we’ve collected all the money for the month, we deduct taxes and fees before your payout.

The things we deduct are:

Your tax - Based on you tax rate on skatteetaten.no
Employers tax - 14.1% for ordinary industries based in Oslo
Dipps administration fee.

Once we’ve done this and reported everything to the tax authorities, we pay you and transfer the taxes to the government. Your salary slip will be visible on your account together with previous payslips.

That’s all there is to it!
